This privacy policy explains how FUSH collects, uses, and protects your personal data in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).

1. Data controller

2. Data we collect

During registration:

• first and last name
• email address
• password (stored encrypted)

During use:

• location (to show nearby listings, only with your permission)
• photos (uploaded to listings or posts)
• chat messages
• reviews and comments
• device data (for push notifications)

3. Purpose of processing

We use your data to:

• operate the platform (display listings, enable communication)
• send notifications about activities (new messages, agreements, reviews)
• improve user experience
• ensure platform security

4. Legal basis

We process data based on:

• your consent (registration, location, notifications) — Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR
• contract performance (platform usage) — Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR
• legitimate interest (security, abuse prevention) — Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR
• legal obligation — Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR (e.g. cooperation with tax, labor or law-enforcement authorities under applicable local law)

Location: GPS coordinates are collected only with your explicit permission (operating system). We use them to display nearby listings (radius up to 50 km), search (up to 500 km) and anonymous statistics. The current device location is processed in real time and is not permanently stored; the location of a posted gig (address + GPS) is tied to the listing. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) and Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.

5. Data sharing

We do not sell your data to third parties. We share data only:

• with other users (name, profile picture, reviews — visible in the app)
• with service providers for app operation (Supabase for data storage, Expo for push notifications, Firebase for notification delivery)
• with regulatory authorities (tax, labor inspectorate, police) upon their written request, where required by applicable local law

Data shared with authorities may include: full name, email, phone, address, gig location (GPS), gig description, agreed price, ID of the agreed worker, and date and time of the agreement. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR and the relevant local statute (e.g. ZPDZC-1 in Slovenia).

6. Data retention

We retain your data while your account is active. Gig location (address + GPS) is stored as long as the listing exists, plus an additional 90 days for profile history. Upon account deletion, all personal data is permanently deleted within 30 days. Anonymized statistics may be retained.

8. Security

We use technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including encryption, secure connections (HTTPS), and access restrictions.

9. Cookies and tracking

The FUSH mobile application does not use cookies. The website uses minimal cookies for functionality. We do not track your activities outside the application.

We will notify you of changes to this policy within the application. We recommend reviewing this page periodically.
